National Fruit Fly Symposium, 20-21 July 2023, Adelaide SA
The National Fruit Fly Council (NFFC) has announced a Symposium to be held from 20 – 21 July 2023 at the National Wine Centre in Adelaide.  The Symposium theme is: ‘The view over the horizon’, and it will take stock of progress against the National Fruit Fly Strategy to-date and build a collective view of future opportunities. The two-day symposium will provide an opportunity to both listen, engage and contribute to our collective fruit fly future.

Related “Think Tank” Webinars Commencing in March:  In the lead up to the Symposium in July this year, the NFCC will host a ‘Think Tank’ webinar series covering strategic priority issues including market access, SIT and policy, area wide management (AWM), and fruit fly systems.  You can join the National Fruit Fly Council for the first ‘Think Tank’ webinar on Thursday, 16 March 2023 from 1 – 2:30pm (AEDT) to discuss the continued importance of a strong domestic and international biosecurity system to support market access in Australia.  Please note that registrations for this webinar close 14 March.
