Whether you’re currently dealing with rabbits, looking to build on any reductions in rabbit numbers achieved through a recent Calicivirus RHDV1 K5 release, or seeking to improve the effectiveness of your existing management program, this workshop will provide practical guidance on integrated rabbit management and the range of control options available to help achieve long-term results.
Great follow-up to Calicivirus Releases: For landholders who participated in LBG’s 2026 Calicivirus RHDV1-K5 Release Program, this workshop is particularly timely. While Calicivirus K5 can be an effective tool for reducing rabbit numbers, long-term success relies on follow-up control measures that address remaining rabbits, breeding opportunities and harbourage. This workshop will help participants build on any gains achieved through the recent release program and develop a property-specific, ongoing rabbit management plan. As we often highlight, Calicivirus Releases are just one component of an integrated rabbit management approach. Achieving long-term results requires follow-up and persistence with the strategic use of multiple control methods over time.
